My usage stats are saying i have gone over my quota (of 500gb) and have used 508gb this month!!
From what I can see it is adding 307gb of downloads to 201gb of uploads, and now my speed has been throttled and is basically unusable as a result of this miscalculation.
Can you please fix it asap!
My service number is: 0201324167
Uploads counting towards download quota?
Re: Uploads counting towards download quota?
Hi,
Usage allowances on Exetel fibre plans are advertised as anytime data usage.
https://www.exetel.com.au/broadband/nbn
This means downloads and uploads, both are included towards the usage allowance.
These plans do not have a separate allowance for uploads and that is why the service is now slow as you have exceeded the allowance.
Please reply to the email I sent if you have any further concerns.
Thanks

Perhaps you should update your Fibre FAQ on this forum because it states that Exetel doesn't charge for uploads

Or they could ignore you and leave misleading information on their "Customer help forum".
Either way...
Either way...

Up to date information is always available under the recent plan details and it is recommended to check the website plan information.AJay wrote:Perhaps you should update your Fibre FAQ on this forum because it states that Exetel doesn't charge for uploads
