I've asked the sysadmin responsible to reply.

This is being worked on at the moment. Looks like there is a limitation to the attachment size.

I just sent a fax (14kb PDF) and recieved a page from Fax Solutions with one line of boxes with question marks inside them - nothing like the PDF attachment I sent

So whilst something came through it's still not working properly - but I guess that's what trials are all about :)

That should have been sent to your email address once it was sent.

I will get that checked this morning

When you registered an email address for the email to fax you should have picked a password.

Once that is done you have to send the email from that registered email address and the password in the subject line, which is case sensitive.

Any chance you could let me know the font that the text is in?

I will check tonight when I get home - they are nothing fancy though (probably Arial or Times Roman orginally created in Word 2007 and converted using Cute PDF)

Interestingly one of the test documents I sent was a mixture of a graphic and text (originally a word doc converted to PDF) - the graphic came through but the text came out as squares again

If you pm an email address I can send you the actual PDF documents

Also - can someone go in and look at what the fax server is doing at the moment (for the last hour or so) - my wife (not happy) just rang me to let me know that the fax had run 11 times and failed to get a fax through (twice it got a part of the doc transmitted) - sounds like a problem so if you can look at it and kill off my job that would be great (let me know if you need further details to do that)

Ok we found that the number that was entered once failed will try again and again. It was stuck in a loop.

It should be fixed now.

Thanks - I hope so - my irate wife is now ringing me every 5 minutes to berate me about it!

She says it has been ringing our fax every two minutes for the last hour - needless to say I am not popular
