Does anyone know if it is possible to send faxes to a US number that starts with 1-818? And if so, how?raymond wrote:Email to 0011+contry code+area code+phone number@fax.exemail.com.au.jun wrote:Is the international fax via e-mail still not available?

I cannot see why that would be any different from other USA numbers - 818 is a California geographic code - ( see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Area_code_818 ).mgjv wrote: Does anyone know if it is possible to send faxes to a US number that starts with 1-818? And if so, how?
Sorry, I shouldn't have retyped that, but cut and pasted.mgjv wrote:using 00111818500926@fax.exemail.com.au,
Define "normal". In the NANP mobile phones can have the same style numbers as wired phones. Once you omit the n11 special service codes, the 8xy (x=y) toll free numbers, 900 premium numbers you are still left with Canadian and a bunch of Caribbean islands in addition to USA numbers.mgjv wrote:I don't know what sort of local notation the USA uses for 'normal' numbers.
It seems to. According to Wikipedia, 818 = Glendale, San Fernando, Burbank and northern Los Angeles suburbs.Does 1-818 simply mean a number in the Burbank region?
