hey hey,
for some reason my email2fax's are not working.
I am always receiving the--

"Dear Customer,

Unfortunately, your Email to Fax request to fax number 1800132463 on 1-2-2010 at 18:09:20 has failed due to:
- An invalid attachment

Troubleshooting Suggestions/Information:
- Ensure that the file type is either of the following file type: .doc (Word Document), .gif(Image), .jpeg(Image), .png(Image) .xls(Excel Spreadsheet), .ppt(Powerpoint Presentation), .pdf(Portable Document Format) or .html.
- Be aware that simply changing the extension of a file to .pdf or .doc does not convert a file from one type to another.

--message. Although my attachments are usually always .jpg and I even tried a .gif with the same result.

Any ideas??

Faxes ultimately turn into tiff. Can you convert to tiff format yourself, to diagnose the trouble? (Exetel hasn't said what is used to convert files, but my guess is ImageMagick)

Right.
Sent another 2 emails to fax, 1 with .pdf and 1 with .tiff attachments. Both sent successfully.
Strange.

Thoughts?
