Post by Pfitzy » Sun Nov 04, 2007 6:58 pm

I got emails as follows:

Where are the details I use to FTP to the site? its active according to my login but I've tried the name and passwords provided and it isn't working.

Thanks!

I tend to come here first for such issues as FTP isn't life-or-death. And this IS the Help Forum ;)

Pfitzy,

I've sent you the username and password again to your email. Password is case sensitive. I've tested with an FTP software already, so it should be working.

Please check your email.

Problem is fixed! Thanks Jared, but this was weird:

I tried to load up SmartFTP with all the site details. It would continually connect, then fail when submitting password.

BUT once I connected using standard Windows Explorer, SmartFTP (which was in the middle of a re-try) dropped in and decided it wanted to login.

Very weird...
