Uploading files via PHP and rotate and desaturate effects
Hi,
I'm aware there is a 2mb limit by default, but I thought in my CMS that if I specified another amount, eg a higher size that it would allow larger uploads via the browser.
Is this so or is it "hard-coded" in the php.ini?
Thanks

Re: Uploading files via PHP
Actually I just checked and it was not fully actioned, eg not high enough.
Is there some kind of business rule in place here even though I have a certain amount of space I can use?

I have requested one of the System administrators to have a look at this and to respond to this post......compositor wrote:Actually I just checked and it was not fully actioned, eg not high enough.

Re: Uploading files via PHP
Thank you for the service.
The CMS reports the current maximum which is only 8MB as opposed to 10 of which the latter is the desired amount.
Funny if I update a file via FTP, eg by replace, the CMS has no idea.

Hi Shoner,
I noticed a help desk link in your signature and am wondering which password I use to log into it or indeed if it applies to the service I have.
Thank you

Re: Uploading files via PHP
Hi Shoner
The problem is fixed (upload limit increased), as well PECL libraries have been installed which is most appreciated.
Just wondering though, is it Exetel' intention to provide GD library rotate and desaturate effects as well?
I'm not currently using images but I thought it might be useful in future.
Many thanks and kindest regards.

The possibility of this being implemented is being investigate by our sys admins. Once a positive out come is available, will keep you posted.compositor wrote: Just wondering though, is it Exetel' intention to provide GD library rotate and desaturate effects as well?
