Exetel Mobile Portal for customers

Post by smsdeveloper » Mon Oct 26, 2009 3:02 pm

Exetel has developed a new mobile portal for customers in order to increase the facilities offered to the customers.

This site offers access to Member facilities and the current Business and Residential plans.
This site is still under development and is at the testing stage. Your feedback and suggestions are welcome so that we could improve the site further.

Please note that this site is developed for mobile handsets even though the site can be accessed through the PC browers as well.

This is a very good development. Much welcomed! I always liked to have the ability to check user facilites via my HSPA mobile browser w/o going through the main web site.

Feedback:
1. Cannot sign in to members area with either of my HSPA mobile accounts.
2. 'Member' hyperlink (except home page) appears to be broken
3. ADSL2 Plan listing appears to be outdated.
4. The width of the pages slightly too wide for my mobile browser (samsung innov8)

This will be an important addition to Exetel Services when up and running, especially with the range of mobile broadband services that are provided now.

With HSPA/VoIP services designed for mobile phones this will be a great way to access member services from a handset. To be able to access all the plans available on Exetel will be an excellent tool for LITE Agents too.
The views I present are that of my own and NOT of any organisation I may belong to.

Hi Ravenous,

Not much new on the mobile development at the moment although we do have a http://www.exetel.com.au/mobile site if you're interested in checking the network status page on the go. It's still in beta at the moment so there will be more additions to this site later down the track.

Thanks Shady,

Look forward to the day a functional user facilites is developed for mobile phone browsers. It certainly makes sense to have such a service for the HSPA mobile users. Thanks for the update :)
