Shortcuts for mobile usage don't work
Shortcuts for mobile usage don't work
Howdy,
If I go in to view my mobile phone usage and add the page as a shortcut to my home screen, clicking that shortcut link returns a page with "You cannot view your telephone record."
I thought I had raised this issue before, but I can't find the post if I did...

As we know, there are known knowns. There are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns. That is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns, the ones we don't know we don't know.

Re: Shortcuts for mobile usage don't work
Thanks,
I just realised I posted this in the Web Site forum instead of members facilities. Feel free to move if you wish.
I've also PM'd you a different "example" mobile which is my number instead of my wifes if you need to call me again.

Re: Shortcuts for mobile usage don't work
Hi,
This is now fixed. Usage shot cuts in the members login is now working fine.

Re: Shortcuts for mobile usage don't work
Not really working how I would have expected.
If I had a shortcut to a Call Summary page, then the shortcut actually just goes to the page with the drop-down selection for services rather than directly to the mobile service summary.
Not really something I'm that worried about, just pointing it out coz it's not doing what I thought it should be doing.

Thank you for the suggestion, We will forward it to our development team and check the possibilities of changing it.

Re: Shortcuts for mobile usage don't work
The form request for the information has "method=post". This makes it difficult to bookmark. "Get" requests are encoded in the URL and are easily handled as browser bookmarks.
Re: Shortcuts for mobile usage don't work
If the final response is "Working as designed, no fix planned" then that's fine. I just raise it as a "not working as expected" behaviour for the shortcut functionality provided by the website code.Dazzled wrote:The form request for the information has "method=post".
