I have a nokia e51 and after installing and inputting api username and password, it always says Wrong username or password.

It's the correct one. As I also use the windows desktop exesms. I thought maybe I had to make a separatae api account for both so I made an api just for the mobile phone version, and I still get this incorrect user/password thing. Has anyone else had this problem, how did you fix it?

Can the website be made to detect mobile phones logging in & a mobile page set up for this, the same way you enter google.com but are directed to m.google.com if you're on a mobile. I try this from my 240x320 phone and it's a giant full sized webpage. and using way too much data than wanted when you're paying by the byte. Tried that Exesms app. doesn't work for me.

Make one for iPhone and distribute it over the Apps store!

I later learnt that there is a more direct route to the online-based SMS service, namely,
https://www.exetel.com.au/sendsms
This is probably more like what you are after.

That's probably against Apple's terms and conditions but their site seems to be in maintenance right now, so I can't check.

edit: There seems to be several SMS apps, so maybe they are allowed.

I noticed earlier in this thread that there was a question as to whether this application would run under Windows Mobile. My daughter recently tried to install it on her Samsung Omnia (WM 6.1) and it failed with 'errno=910'. Is this because it isn't [yet] compatible with Windows Mobile? Is anyone successfully running it under WM?
