Hi all
I've been having slow MBB speeds that is unusable in the afternoons from ~4pm until nearly 10pm
I've tried moving the modem to various parts of the house without any change
At best in "off peak" times I am able to reach 12Mpbs but currently having near continuous timeouts and using mobile phone to hot spot (also Optus 4G network, different carrier)
The speed test with phone SIM is ~23Mbps and with MBB 0.5Mpbs
Phone hotspot (Optus 4G) - https://exetel.speedtestcustom.com/resu ... 5b9eacf70a
Exetel mobile broadband - https://exetel.speedtestcustom.com/resu ... 5b9eacf70a
As far as I can see there are no reported issues with the network and the coverage map (Footscray, VIC) is a sea of purple
Is there something else I can do?
TIA!

Re: Slow MBB speeds
Also realise should read "Home Wireless Broadband" rather than mobile broadband
And modem is Huawei B525 from Exetel

Re: Slow MBB speeds
I would like to check this with our Optus network. Can you drop an email with random speed test (http://speedtest.exetel.com.au/) results during peak / offpeak times, including the service number or the customer id ? Once you have received the ticket reference number, reply here with that and I will check accordingly.
Re: Slow MBB speeds
Thanks - I'll send that through with an offpeak speedtest
Its now 19:30 and speed is 3.3Mbps so improving and can slowly load pages but unable to stream at this speed
