Slow download speed, Townsville.

HI Guys over the last week my download speed has dropped to 20-30Mbps a far cry from the the 80-90Mbps that I normally get and considering that I am paying for 100/40 connection.

Can you please sort this out???

Hi haven't had a chance to run the other tests just yet, have restarted both NBN and my router, see latest speed test, everything is being affected regardless of destination, Netflix, Online Games and general browsing.

Last Result:
Download Speed: 355 kbps (44.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 31560 kbps (3945 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 48 ms
Jitter: 117 ms

got to love the difference between down and up....

Dont know who poked the mice on the spinning wheel but,

Last Result:
Download Speed: 90427 kbps (11303.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 31099 kbps (3887.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 32 ms
Jitter: 6 ms

Premature Excitement.... mice are slowing down

Download Speed: 33143 kbps (4142.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 31688 kbps (3961 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 34 ms

This matter is currently under investigations with our supplier. Meantime please reply to my email with the required test results.

Im in Townsville as well (Heatley) and also on 100/40 connection and speeds have been woeful. Just tested now and got ping 39ms download 13.52 Mbps upload 28.64 Mbps.
Took 25 minutes to open an 8mb PDF file today. I was getting better and more constant speeds on ADSL.

also in townsville, currently shaped but is way slower than normal. like dialup. is the scheduled maintenance going to fix this issue?

We need to check services individually from our supplier network. Therefore drop us an email to residentialsupport@exetel.com.au , including speed test results in different time frames of the day.
