Hi, I have a connection date of 28/11/2016 (next Monday) for a FTTN connection, but have not received my modem yet , can anyone confirm whether it has been sent or when it might be expected to arrive.

Modem order has been already generated. You should receive the modem within next 3 to 7 business days.

A couple of questions now that we are close to a changeover to FTTN
1 Will an email be sent with the new login credentials prior to 28/11/16
2 I currently have a landline with Exetel which i have asked to be ported to NBN plus a VOIP line. Will the voip line work as per normal once NBN is connected ? should i cancel this voip given i am getting a new voip number with the changeover ?
3 I use a Gigaset ATA device for my VOIP, can i continue to do so ?
There may be more questions but thank you for now

2. Once porting is completed, we will send you a notification with your VOIP details. Then you can configure it on your VOIP adapter
3. Yes, if it is a VOIP compatible adapter you can use it.

Your email won't work without an internet connection. If there is no way for you to receive emails prior to the service activation, please do contact Exetel to get the credentials. However the router you receive from Exetel is preconfigured, so you do not have to configure it.bruceee wrote:Hi,

Hi, I still have no NEW password and Username for my new FTTN connection due to be connected tomorrow, could someone please expedite sending of the details otherwise i will be left with a useless connection

Firstly let me say my FTTN connection is working fine
I would like to know how the porting of my Exetel/Optus landline is coming along as it is now one week since activation.
I am a little worried as I have heard stories of people loosing their landline numbers completely.
