Excess data + shaping
Excess data + shaping
Used all our data allowance this month, so shaped back to 256/256. Paid for excess data, but 2 hours later we have the same shaped speeds. How long does it take to get back to our usual speeds? We're on NBN 50/20.

Re: Excess data + shaping
Could you please reboot your modem & check your service speeds. If the issue remains, kindly let us know to proceed with further investigations.u9026a wrote:Used all our data allowance this month, so shaped back to 256/256. That appears to have fixed it. That's the first time we've ever gone over our data limit and I didn't give a thought to rebooting the router. Perhaps it might be a good idea to mention it somewhere when we pay for additional data?

Once you purchased additional usage, kindly reboot the modem to affect those changes to your service.u9026a wrote:That appears to have fixed it.
