Transfer to NBN

Post by matave » Wed Aug 16, 2017 11:17 am

Good Morning,

I am currently an ADSL customer and will soon be looking to transfer to the NBN for both internet and phone. The phone provider is currently Telstra and the account is in my father's name and I will want to retain our phone number. Would this present a problem with transferring to an NBN bundle?

No, it shouldn't cause a problem, once you complete the transfer from ADSL to NBN, You will be able to retain the phone number as long as you convert it to a VOIP service as long as it's a working number.

Kindly PM your service details, so that we could arrange a call back to assist you with the migration and the number porting.

I know the porting of the number should not be an issue but will the phone account being in my father's name be an issue?

HI

No, that will not be an issue, as long as the correct telephone account number is provided.
