Frequent disconnections all day

Hi, we are experiencing repeated disconnections from the internet. The first disconnection started very early today and has happened frequently within the last 2 hours.

Not sure where you are located but Exetel has reported possible Fibre network outages across multiple suburbs in Qld. They may experience complete disruptions or dropouts. The matter is still being investigated. Does that help?
There were some issues in NSW earlier in the week.
I always check the forum first under 'Current maintenance and outages'

Suggest power cycle your modem after service resumes.

They posted that after I made my post here. Good to know Exetel is aware of the problems.

I have that happening to me last night too from Springfield QLD, keeps dropping out but seems to be fixed around 10 or 11pm as it stops dropping out. Seems fine today, hopefully it doesn't come back.

Exetel, what was the issues?

Still an issue here, it just dropped out 5-20 minutes ago (I went and watched some TV). It's working right now.

We recieved reports from multiple services in QLD who experienced the same symptoms. However the situation is under control at this stage and we are yet to recieve an update about the root cause from our supplier. You may refer below forum post for updates and we apologize for any inconvinience caused to you by the service.

Kindly note that all the outages occurred are being restored and currently there are no ongoing outages effecting any Exetel Services.
