Just got our NBN FTTN connected yesterday... We're on a 50/20 plan, but a fair distance from the node. The modem says it's sync speed is about 41mbps down and 9.1 up.
Here's the query though - Speed tests are giving the full 9mbps upload (awesome), but the downloads cap out at exactly 25mbps... Has our port been somehow misconfigured? Or is this related to the ACCC speed check requirement or something?

Re: Speedtest seriously lower than sync
Could you perform few random speed tests via http://speedtest.exetel.com.au/ and with a screen capture of the modem status page (Indicates sync rates) and forward the results to residentialsupport@exetel.com.au ? We may need to check this further then with a supplier escalation.tin wrote: ↑Tue Dec 11, 2018 1:21 pmJust got our NBN FTTN connected yesterday... Re: Speedtest seriously lower than sync
Will do that some time in the next week. 25mbps is still heaps faster than we're used to anyway.
We're also not using the "official" ZTE modem at the moment, so I'll check with that to make sure it's not our stuff.

Re: Speedtest seriously lower than sync
That should be really good to have a comparison before the escalation.
