New user can't connect to internet

Good morning,

My partner and I re-joined Exetel this week, using the Exetel modem we had used previously (ZTE H268A). We got an email to say the service was active but there was no internet. There was an outage in Cairns (where we live) but that outage seems to have been fixed and still no internet. I have turned everything off and on again. I put the modem back to Exetel's default factory settings.

Is there still an outage at Cairns or is the problem at our place? (Account is in my partner's name, who is at work)
