that is such enormously sad news,
my sympathy to all this family and Steve. they are going to miss a loving husband , father and friend,,,,who made his love of them shine thro his musings.
he was a unique and gifted man who really lived his life and business.
for him to not be around to see how his company progresses is such a sadness after all this enormous work.
his reflective musings of late on life and work now seem all the more valuable. .
he was really a passionate man , driven to make a difference ,
people like that are rare

he was not just my ISP management.... he was larger than life, made my internet service efficient and he made a prosaic business so much more interesting .
one way and the other he taught a lot of people a lot of things i suspect

to show his obvious love for his family so often in his musings is not the usual manner of CEOs.
that was one of the things that made him different and which i hope his family will hold close to them

Such sad news ... John L was an integral part of my 21st century online life!
My heartfelt condolences to Annette and family ... and to the staff and customers of that "extended family" we've come to know as Exetel.

Dear Annette, James and family,

There are no words to adequately express the sympathy for the devastation and profound loss you must be feeling……. I’m deeply saddened on the sudden passing of Mr. John Linton. He was a great boss and all of us who worked for him thought the world of him and will miss him very much. I know this is a difficult time for you. John was very much admired and respected throughout the company.

Our thoughts and prayers will be with you.

My condolences to you Annette, James and family.

Mr.John Linton is a great person that I've found in my life. I've learned a lot of things from him during the last 6 years... I couldn't believe that I've lost such a great boss, but we must understand that nothing is permanent on this earth. Honestly I'll miss him a lot. Rest in peace John...
