Just noticed the increase on my quota page, bravo exctel!

You're the only isp in Australia that keeps it real in regards to adsl 1 data allowances.

Thank you very much all added value is greatly appreciated.

Is this applicable to people churning to ADSL1 plans? I note that is the only page still showing 48GB.

Good news and thank you Exetel :). However, I got sent to the block page (you still have the bug which sends users to the abuse page instead of the usage page btw) when I passed 48GB this morning.

thanks again Exetel.

i'm so glade you pass on any changes to the users without any complications or "forced plan changes".

unlike bigT which in their words, i quote "we don't want to force our users to change plans, if you want the free upgrade you need to sign up to receive it" mind you this was to get a $10 discount on all plans across the board. after i heard that i came to exetel, best move i ever made.

Interesting, given what happened with the increase announced yesterday.

I wonder why there has been a change in policy?

I must admit I'm a little disappointed, as I only switched over to the ADSL2 plus phone plan from Exetel ADSL1 last week and I've missed out on the benefits announced yesterday... Before I had realised that we were missing out, I'd already forwarded on the announcement Email to my wife with a message saying what a good move it was to change our phone rental, etc over to Exetel.... To say she wasn't impressed when I informed her that we had missed out is an understatement... "How can we not be on a current plan when we changed over only last week?"

I would suggest you are on a 'current' plan and will therefore benefit. What is your plan name?

Check your Account details to confirm.

I assumed from this comment he'd be on a current plan. I didn't realise 'old plans' were able to be signed up to as recently as last week. Or is this a symptom of the 'special offer' for the transfer from Telstra infrastructure (ADSL1 -> ADSL2)?

Changing from an 'old plan' to a 'current plan' (say TL-BA) means forgoing 8gb in peak but gaining 6gb in off-peak, along with all the other benefits/savings of the new plan.
Are there any thoughts in the near future  of further increasing the peak quota on the 'current plans' as was the case when the 'old plans' went from 12gb to 16gb to now 20gb?
