Thanks for the explanation.

Today is the 1st Feb., and I noticed that I still have only $1 of free credit, while each SMS is $0.05, which means still only 20 free SMSs. Is the increase not in place yet, or is it going to show an incorrect figure (it should say $1.50 for 30 free SMSs).

Also, will credit for faxes show up on the member homepage? It currently doesn't show how many 'free' faxes I have remaining.

Cheers, and thanks again.

Free Faxes Now Available On All Eligible Services
Also from 1st February 2009 the first 20 faxes sent using the Exetel ‘FAX over Broad Band’ service will be at no charge.
I know that international SMS's are not included in the free quota - can you clarify whether international faxes are included in this allowance of the first 20 faxes sent per month?

At the moment there is no distinction by destination country - so yes.

Are you sure?

When you log in to your Exetel user facilities and go to the Send SMS from Web page of the SMS section (https://www.exetel.com.au/members/send_ ... detail.php), you can see a list of your SMS charges for that month:

Total SMS: $0.00
Total Unbilled SMS: $0.00
Today's SMS: $0.00
Remaining FREE SMS Credit: $1.50

I haven't sent any SMS messages this month, but if I had sent one yesterday, for example, I think the "Total Unbilled SMS" would be $0.05 and the "Remaining FREE SMS Credit" would be $1.45.

Is this still the case? - ie international destinations are included in the free monthly fax quota

http://www.exetel.com.au/a_plan_pricing_new.php states "20 free Australian Email2FAX(up to ten pages) each month with additional Australian Email2FAX at only 3 cents per FAX(up to ten pages)"

Which is correct?
