Revisions To ADSL2 Plans

Post by ForumAdmin » Tue Mar 31, 2009 10:39 am

We have made a number of changes to the current ADSL1 plans that will come in to effect in April.

The details of the changes can be found on the ADSL2 plan pricing page here:

http://www.exetel.com.au/a_plan_pricing_adsl2.php

Main changes are:

1) 12 midnight to 12 noon allowance increased to 60 gb

3) 100 free VoIP calls to national/local wire line numbers added to all ADSL2 plans

4) PAYU per GB rates reduced in both periods

No current users of these plans need take any action to receive these benefits from April 1st 2009.

I use VoIP on my exetel HSPA connection. Can I get a free DID on my ADSL2 plan and use it on my hspa mobile, and utilise the free voip calls?

Great offer!

How do I get that free VoIP?
Do I need to order it from members facilities?
Will I also get a DID?

Thanks.

Some nice improvements and additions - thanks to Exetel.

I don't have an Exetel VOIP account currently so what's the best way to get one and a DID so I can benefit from the free calls?

EDIT: Looks like someone else had the same question while was posting mine. :D

As a naked user, thanks for the extra off-peak quota.

Is there any chance of increasing the included calls in the naked offering as naked users already had 100 free local/national calls

Don't you mean ADSL2 plans?

Are you on a currently listed plan?

Ahh!

Sorry I read the current users line and didn't think it might not apply to me on an older plan.

I guess because usually it flows on to all of us. For example, in the past any increase in off peak allowance has applied across the board, Is that not the case this time?

It only applies to the new plans, not the old plans.

I figured that was what you were getting at.

So the increase in off peak doesn't apply to old plans either?

As an email has already gone out it might be best to follow it up with one clarifying exactly who gets the additions and who doesn't. I know the email referred to 'current' plans but the term 'current' is itself ambiguous when you consider that someone on an older (no longer available) plan might consider it to be 'current' as it is still working for them as it has not been withdrawn.

Regards.
