Please keep it as it is.

Maybe even changing it to 10pm-10am.

That would be good.

I very much dislike this idea. I have no way to automatically start and stop my software downloading; I manually start it before I go to bed. If it were to start at 2am, I would be charged for those first two hours. Also, I always turn off the software at 10 or 11 once I start working and browsing so I'd effectively lose two more hours of off-peak download time if it were to end at 2pm.

Please don't make this a compulsory change. If it were possible, the ideal would be to allow each user to choose an option of offpeak time (10-10, 12-12 or 2-2).

Brilliant idea. I would be very much in favour of this, it would be very beneficial for me.

I do most of my dl around 12am with the off peak i do most browsing during the day from 12pm I usually just get my dl going and leave it go for the time from 12am to 12pm so I'm not really keen on the change as i have to work and I dont see myself staying up till 2am just to start my dl's!!!!!!!!!!!

Download scheduler? There are many free ones.

I agree with the possible change of Off Peak to 2am-2pm.

If downloads start later anyone who only downloads for a short period (me) will have their computer on longer (before it shuts down when all downloads complete). This results in electricity wasted (= CO2 emitted) and computer life shortened.

yeah this seems good, i'm not against it, but it wouldn't make much difference to me, i don't really distinguish between on and off peak, i use them as i need 'em.

For me I can see the benefit of utilising more of the off peak quota during the day.

I can also state, for me I don't see the network loading issues stated by other posts.

If the network availability is similar then I cannot see any "bad" in the proposal.
I am not an on-line gamer but do utilise VOIP and Skype.

I am a relatively new Exetel customer but, I will agree with the other posters on the subject of communication from Exetel to their customer base.
I know this sort of discussion was not available with ANY of my past ISP's.

If Exetel can continue with the level of network availability the 2hr offset would be ok with me.

I'd prefer it stay the way it is. Not usually up till 2am unless it's a weekend or holiday.

I vote NO as well I use the internet at night not during the day. It would impact on me badly

You are making the Off peak period a complete Day thing not a Night thing for interactive users (if that makes sense)

To be honest it probably won't affect me, but I am encouraged that Exetel are continuing to try and make things better. Keep up the good work.

I STRONGLY AGREE with this..

Usually my gaming latency hit rock bottom after 12 AM, with this change, I usually finish at 2 AM so it's really beneficial for me!!
Hopefully it'll take effect!

2 - 2 is fine, bring it!

edit: Just thinking about it now...

Why not have an opt in /out service that a user could choose what they want as peak /off peak times.
12 -12 or 2 - 2
Maybe too difficult to implement, but an idea none the less.
