This would be a good idea.

Only gamers will be online this late, many others will be in bed.

Queuing up downloads shouldn't be a problem.

I would not be in favor of this change as it inconveniences me for my situation. Actually, I would prefer off Peak period to shift to earlier time slot, perhaps starting from 10pm is ideal for me, as I will have at least 2 hours of productive time with the internet before I doze off. In this way I have better control of my internet usage.

Sounds fine to me, if the point is to push peoples heavy downloading out of the way of peoples web browsing, this should work fine even if it moves the 12.00 surge to a 2.00 surge.

I personally prefer it the way it is, currently suits me perfectly.

At the moment I finish up my normal net use around midnight, flick on my downloads and go to bed. When I'm up in the morning the downloads are stopped and PC shutdown as I leave for work. If the period moves I have to bother to schedule my downloads later, and I'll still be turning my PC off in the morning before I go to work - so I also have less time of actually downloading. So off-peak starting at 12 is great for me.

I've never had an issue with web browsing or anything once the off-peak period starts... but can appreciate it if others are. But I don't want it moved.

As Spock said: "The needs of the many, outweigh the needs of the few", and as the 'many' seem in favour of the change, Exetel should just go ahead a do it.

It won't make much difference to me either way. Sometimes I play games at 12am and sometimes I download 12am-2pm.

I would like it to stay from Midnight to 12:00 noon. I leave at 04:00 in the morning to go to work, so changing the free time to 02:00 makes it a bit harder to appriciate, but then that is just me.

I think this would suit better as how many people are up that time of night on the net. (except for the young ones). Good Idea.

No I would not like the proposed changed. I prefer Midnight to Noon.

My web browsing is fine after Midnight and having off-peak start then gives me the opportunity to do and react to things in real time. Scheduling is not viable in all situations.
