New customers should, old customers should be left alone

2) Before June 1st we will provide an option for any customer who wishes to do so to select an alternate 'off peak' period for the following month of either 1 am to 1 pm or 2 am to 2 pm.
3) The user can select the 'off peak' time option for any following month at any time before the next month starts and that period will remain until the user decides to change it for the following month.

I know I'm a little late to this party, but will throw in my 2c.
The 1am - 1pm offpeak is a little close to the existing 12am - 12pm and will probably not do much to the traffic.
I wil be changing my offpeak to 2am - 2pm, although, I think an even later option (4am - 4pm) would be preferable.

We will try the stated options and see how they go.

The facility to select from three off peak periods is now available in the Exetel User Facilities.
The default setting is 12 midnight to 12 noon.
To change the period you must do so before the end of the month BEFORE the month you wish to select a different off peak period.
The off peak period cannot be changed mid month - the period you select will stay in place for a complete month.
You can select a different off peak period as many times as you wish to do so with the last change you make remaining in place until you decide to change it.
You can select a change NOW (the email that was sent out erred on the cautious side by saying from July 1st as the text was taken from the draft of the June 1st Customer News Letter) and it will come in to operation from June 1st 2009.

I have selected the 2:00AM-2:00PM shift to schedule my downloads. In time, I can see Exetel returning to the base-2 presentation of quotas ie 64GB+32GB replace 60GB+30GB, and look forward to future changes.

Great stuff, thank you.
Took me a bit of time to find the option, though.
For anyone else looking, it's under ADSL | Change My Service - Scroll down to the bottom.
For the webmaster: the text and "Make Change" button covering the option to change to/from shaped is also there, but the tick-boxes don't work: the tick-boxes for the shaped option that DO work are found under Account Details | View Plan Detail at the bottom of the page.

I think the current 12am-12pm off peak period would suit all the people who work day shifts more.

edit: to anyone wondering why the tickboxes aren't working, you have to click "make change" before you can select an option.

Tickboxes and radio buttons for selecting shape and peak/offpeak period have been enabled.
