Can't Save Connection Settings in Profile Management

Post by colio » Wed Aug 12, 2009 9:50 am

Got my HSPA modem the other day.. connecting is fine & pretty much happy with all of it except this one point.. I can't seem to get the Profile Management connection details to save (i.e. APN details & username & password). It will save when you enter it so that it allows you to connect, but once you disconnect you have to go back in & enter the details again.. very annoying. Anyone got any help on this?? :?

Easiest way is to enter a new profile. You can also edit the profile configuration file directly if you like.

Let me find the thread that explains how to do this:

This seems to be some issue with the Huawei software supplied on the modems. It's happening to a lot of ISPs.
I also suspect it's only effecting Vista/7, not XP.
