Can receive but cannot make calls

Post by irvy » Fri Apr 11, 2008 8:44 pm

I am using the Netcomm v200 but cannot make any calls. I can receive calls. What am I doing wrong or what more do I need to do?

Can you please send screenshots of the configuration page?

Or enable remote management on the unit if it supports it?

Do I need to put anything in the Dial Plan tab?

You will need to port foward port 80 to the V200 as well on the router.

The default dial plan will work without any problems, everything looks fine at the moment from what you posted.

Post by irvy » Mon Apr 14, 2008 5:40 pm

Please excuse my ignorance, but how do I forward port 80 to my v200?

no luck still

I still cannot make any calls. If Exetel is promoting the Netcomm v200 why is there no support?

You are getting support now.

Please look up your router using the link below.

www.portforward.com

This will show you how to port forward port 80 to the V200.

Still cannot make calls out

Post by irvy » Sun Apr 20, 2008 12:40 pm

I am connected to the internet by a Netcomm NB1300Plus4 modem.
One of the LAN ports is connected to the WAN of the Netcomm v200 modem.
I have port forwarded ports 80, 5060 and 16384-16391 to the voip ip address.
No luck still. I am still getting the engaged tone.

I have finally got my VOIP working. I enabled the STUN server and it worked.
