Can't receive calls

Post by Johnno_Smith » Sun Apr 13, 2008 11:04 am

Hi i've seen a couple of these threads around but nothing has helped.
The problem is we can make calls over the voip and the router says "register to the sip proxy succeed" but cannot receive calls.
I'm using a Netcomm NB9W and i've updated it to the latest firmware. Any help would be fantastic

I have a Belkin F1PI-241EGau and a Brisbane DID. I can make calls OK but cannot receive them. When my VoIP service is 'registered' , callers to my DID number hear an engaged signal. When I 'unregister' the service, callers hear the ringing tone. Would this be a problem with my Belkin or with the exchange? Regards. Coz :?:

It is an issue with the Belkin unit.

You will need to open a fault with the manufacture.

The problem is due to how the unit responds to the SIP invite on incoming calls.
