Additional assistance
Re: Additional assistance
Is there a source IP we can restrict access by?
I don't want to be opening up my modem to the world.
The RTA1046VW allows adding multiple single IP addresses.

bilal

Re: Additional assistance
It would be better to let us know once you have enabled your modem access as we will quickly go through the configuration to make any checks or fixes besides from that you can email your screen shots to voip@exetel.com.au
Re: Additional assistance
Did you get my Draytek screenshots I sent you? I didn't see any reply if you sent one.Martin V wrote:you can email your screen shots to voip@exetel.com.au
You've only requested info for remote access. Would you need info on how to configure VOIP as well?
Re: Additional assistance
Just wondering... Whatever happened to the info I sent you in August, at your request?Martin V wrote:if anyone wishes to contribute please email martinv@exetel.com.au with this forum link and i will upload your guide up.
Re: Additional assistance - Billion
Note with the Billion routers: If you are hosting a web server, you will need to change the embedded web server port number as enabling external access will cause a clash with the virtual server rules for your hosted server.
The port number is set at Configuration / Advanced / Device Management / HTTP Port
Note that the change only becomes active after you save the settings to flash and reboot.
And don't forget to tell the tech support guys the new port number.
