I have Extel ADSL2 plan with optus telephone.
At the bear minimum if a activate the VOIP option and use softphone...
1) Do people still ring my current telephone number and the old telephone rings ie my current number is unefffected?
2) If I want to voip I can use the softphone software to dial out at 10cents a go on the PC?
3) There is no additional charge to have voip available - just the call charge?
VOIP How it works dumb questions.

yes to 1 and 2, I think yes to 3 but that may depend on your plan, not familiar with the T&C's of your particular plan but I'm sure someone from Exetel staff will be able to confirmsqueakytown wrote:I have Extel ADSL2 plan with optus telephone.
