VOIP Down ?

I suspect that there may be a VOIP issue at the moment. As of 10:00 EDT no outgoing VOIP calls.
I am getting VOIP carrier tone, can hear the numbers dialing, then hash and 90 seconds later the line drops.
Standard PSTN line works fine. Connection to Exetel appears fine, rebooted the world, no difference. Anyone else?

VOIP down in the same way with me, also in Sydney. I will raise a ticket.

Yep, I've got the same problem, I'm in Central QLD. After dialling the number, I get an engaged signal after the long silence. What's going on??????

me toooooooooooooo

can call in but no calls out

same silence after dialling

could exetel let us know please that they are atteding to this or do we each need to raise a new ticket

and it is very reminicient of other issues in the past....ie i make a successful call and then go to make another and it seems like the success sparks off a cease of service .
every single time i have had issues the problem has arisen immediately after a successful call out.......and a few times it has been after a call in

ive got the same problem. just raised a ticket. had wife complainign that the phones down . can we know whats happenign Exetel ?

There wasn't any issue this morning. Tried power cycled all voip equipment for 10 min?

NB9 / NB9W users are recommended to upgrade its firmware.

Hi,

We're also experiencing problems on our our Exetel VOIP services at multiple locations.

All calls to landlines either fail to connect, get an optus message, drop out after 20 seconds or drop out after 2 minutes.

Calls to mobiles seem OK.

what is the latest firmware for maxxis please...is it successful

i have had two lots already...........the last one supposedly to *correct* exetel issues

i am totally over the firmware issues. :roll:

as usual the modem shows *sip proxy succeed* for register

Jared, did full power cycle, no change VOIP still down.
I am running NB6+4W and V210P and have had stable VOIP for yonks.

Something's happening. I use a V300, and have had some successful calls this morning, and some failures. The failures were all trunk calls out of Sydney to PSTN numbers - the phone gets the dial tone, I hear ringing at the other end, then it goes dead.

We experiment some new feature morning and may have affected some users. I've spoken to forum user 'Mixer' after revert the change and it work after that.
we're going to re check the features again before redeploying it.
