National and International Format

Hi,

What is the format to call out in xlite configured with exetel voip?

National?

International?

VoIp uses the same formats as your PSTN phone. 8 or 10 digits in your home state; always add 2 digit state codes for other states; 0011+country code+number for o/s.

you re saying that the format is like this 001165XXXXXXXXX for the international?

and for national is 00423xxxxxxxxx?

National is like 0898765432 (SA) or 0212345678 (NSW)
International to UK: 0011441707777777

how about for national mobile?

is it something like this 040xxxx 0r 0042xxxx?

National and national mobile are the same: 10 digits, leading digit is 0.

This is exactly the same as you would use in a mobile and have it work anywhere around Australia.

0040374xxxx for national (mobile or land line)

001165678xxxxxx for international.

the dialing rules replicate those of your regular PSTN home phone service, no area code for calls in your state, add the area code for out of state calls, 0011 prefix for international, dial Australian mobiles just like normal 0412xxxxxx etc
