I feel like an idiot. Unzipped the file and uploaded it no problem. Thanks.

We've just done the update to the modem. Had a problem connecting to it so did a factory reset and re-entered everything (voip, ADSL, wireless password etc). We connect via ethernet.

VoIP is working so I know the modem is online. However when I try to get to a web page it is asking for authorisation. Also POP email is not connecting. Something has somehow turned on to prevent connections, but I can't see what or where. Help?

Thanx

However when I try to get to a web page it is asking for authorisation.
Do you mean you are getting re-directed to the Exetel failed login page? If so, recheck the username/password - they may have been changed from the defaults.

Not sure what page (its not me) but their voip works so it wouldn't be that would it?

Hello, I also have the message "Image uploading failed. The selected file contains an illegal image."
I've unzipped the file but so far no luck. Any suggestions

I have upgraded to the beta firmware. NOW I am getting the dead line problem (ie they can't hear me but I can hear them). Before I upgraded, it was working fine!

So obviously the "fix" has not fixed the problem. As Exetel is a major Netcomm reseller, can they push Netcomm for some info and a fix ASAP?

Note to self: don't update if you don't need to! And keep a backup of the old firmware.

Hi All,

Is the link for the updated firmware linked in this post still valid as of Oct 09? I have been having lag issues on my voip, thought I had upgrade the firmware (see topic http://forum.exetel.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=33930 ), but still getting the lag. I would like to sort.

My housemate is also having trouble with international calls to Canada. It was working fine but now neither party can hear each other. :-(

The newest firmware on their website worked for me (stopped the lag).
