Is it just me or is the VOIP meter slower to update now? I'm sure previously it used to be almost 'real-time'. ie. Make a call, go in and check, and it was there.
Now it seems to take the usual 1 day or so to update. (as in wait for download from the supplier)
No big deal, just wondering if I'm off with the fairies...
VOIP meter - speed of updates
Re: VOIP meter - speed of updates
It has never been real time. Although I understand there are plans to move towards real time.
The meter usually updates overnight but has been known to take longer.

Re: VOIP meter - speed of updates
I would prefer Exetel to find another VoIP provider as Verizon is SH*T!
The views I present are that of my own and NOT of any organisation I may belong to.

What has that got to do with this thread??
Please keep on topic, you have already vented your spleen over Verizonin the other thread, please don't continue to bring it up, you are not achieving anything.
Re: VOIP meter - speed of updates
Well I'm sure another wholesale provider could update the meter better than Verizon!!!!sable wrote:vk3xem wrote:I would prefer Exetel to find another VoIP provider as Verizon is SH*T!

Yes "longer" is the word, especially at the end of the month and weekendssable wrote:It has never been real time........The meter usually updates overnight but has been known to take longer.
Re: VOIP meter - speed of updates
Exetel could update the meter based on the calls that go through the server and connect, but I imagine the Verizon CDR could be used so that billing reflects the calls we are charged for (so they can be reconciled).
