exetel new teleconference server

HI All,

We are ready to deploy a new teleconference server on 13th Monday by afternoon.

More informations will be available on Monday. A user guide will be provided on Monday.

New conference server has following features introduced.

1.) enhanced DTMF recognition
2.) enhanced administator menu.
3.) * invite an outside user to a conference while in conference (certain restrictions apply)
4.) * conference recordings available to download as mp3 via ftp

Note:- Old server will be removed from the network and existing conferences will no longer available after new server deployed.

that's great that you will have a user's guide for this feature - but do yoyu have a user guide for something simple like call forwarding that is actually correct and that your staff know!!!!

Conference Room Guidelines:

To Enter Admin menu press *80

Admin menu:
*10 Lock / Unlock conference room
*11 Mute all users except admin
*12 Unmute all users
*20 Play number of participant / Names
*30 Invite a user to conference
*40 Kick the last user from conference.
*## Exit admin menu



Invite an external user to conference:

Steps:
1.) Press *30 in admin menu
2.) Enter the telephone number of the inviting user followed by '#' key
3.) Once the call connect
a.) Press *9 to send the invited user to conference and continue conference
or
b.) Press *0 to disconnect the invite user and go back to conference


DTMF recognition:-
* before you enter any inputs wait while voice prompts are over.
* if you are using a compress codec like g729 make sure your DTMF mode is set to rfc2833 , SIP_INFO or OUTBAND
