Need VOIP Configurations for Nokia N95 8GB internet Calls

please give correct VOIP configuration settings for Nokia N95 8GB phone to make SIP VOIP out call with it's built-in internet VOIP calls hence there will shown not registered for some reasons.

Some Nokia phone already have it's own SIP VOIP functions and if can configure correctly may be able to use VOIP calls without using of exetel VOIP client software for compatible models.

Note: i found that if you are registered mode on Nokia SIP VOIP settings as with any VOIP providers then it will cause can not open the exetel VOIP client well since it appear to be working only one VOIP running at a time under phone OS but yet you need to find out whether still can use in other clients like firng or Numbuzz.

Question: Need to know what exactly exetel's realm is ? since exetel might be having specific realm for mobile phone VOIP.

Below are needing for how to configure in your Nokia N95 8GB phone, it has built-in menu function for to choose call from voice call, video call and internet call when you press the Options before press green button to call.

i request exetel to fill the below settings to complete to get right working configures in the places of ???

open your Nokia N95 8GB


Go to Tools / Settings / Connection / SIP settings. Create the following profile

Exetel Profile Name: ???

Profile: IETF Default

Access point: (your WLAN WIFI name)/ 3G HSPA

Public user name: ???

Use Compression: No

Registration: "Always on "

Use Security: No


You do not need to enter Proxy Server settings

Proxy Server Address: none

Registrar Server:none

Realm: none

User Name: none


Enter the following for Registrar Server settings

Registrar Server:

Realm: ????

User Name: (your VOIP phone number)

Password: (your VOIP password)

Transport Type: UDP

Port: 5060


Go to Tools / Settings / Connection / Internet Tel. Settings

Create a new profile name "( your registered VOIP)"
Choose "( your registered VOIP)" as Preferred profile


For better voice quality or in order to be able to make VoIP calls over 3G internet connection you need to use Nokia SIP VoIP Application you installed. you can download from Nokia website that compatible with your phone Symbian OS firmware version. install the *.sis or *.sisx inside phone

Go to Applications on your phone and click on "SIP VoIP Settings" application. Choose VoIP services/( your registered VOIP)

Click on "Profile Settings" and find "Allow VoIP over WCDMA" option and change it to "ON" This change allows VoIP over 3G connection on Nokia phones.

For better voice quality go to Codes and delete all codes except G729. There should be only G729 codes left under codes settings, note*, if settings still on using it can not delete the codes so that remove your password from voip setting for temporary to become the status of "Not Registered" then try to delete the rest codes again and set back your VOIP password


Reboot your phone. Once your phone is back on it will automatically registered to your related VOIP account if you check under Tools>settings > SIP VOIP settings

Default call type: To switch between normal GSM calls or VOIP calls, navigate to Tools / Settings / Call / Default call type. Select "Internet" to use VoIP to call the from mobile.

+ sign can also be used and number can be dialed as +612xxxxx

1.You will see SIP VOIP Settings client inside Applications folder
2.internet tel client may inside Tools> Connectivity folder
3.for SIP configures the SIP Settings as inside phone Menu > Tools> Settings>Connection> SIP Settings
