Exetel VoIP died yesterday and is still dead.

Noticed yesterday that we are unable to dial out via VoIP, and we got complaints that people are unable to ring us. Our other VoIP provider works without issues.

Looking through the logs, this started at 03:41 in the morning of Sunday June 12.

We have not altered out VoIP configuration for months, so I am assuming that it is external. I have restarted asterisk, but this did not resolve the issue.

Anyone else having the same issues?

Asterisk shows...
*CLI> sip show registry

And we continually get the following errors...
[Jun 13 10:28:57] NOTICE[18906]: chan_sip.c:11642 sip_reg_timeout: -- Registration for '0XXXXXXXXX@58.96.1.2' timed out, trying again (Attempt #1126)
[Jun 13 10:29:17] WARNING[18906]: chan_sip.c:3831 retrans_pkt: Maximum retries exceeded on transmission 5bdb49b010cc24a900ae8eb5734fa2db@192.168.131.1 for seqno 1228 (Critical Request) -- See doc/sip-retransmit.txt.

When I restarted asterisk yesterday, the following messaged appeared twice...
Jun 12 15:46:15 newext asterisk[18886]: NOTICE[18906]: chan_sip.c:11699 in transmit_register: Strange, trying to register 0XXXXXXXXX@58.96.1.2 when registration already pending

To Log a fault ticket, please click Here or alternatively call Exetel VOIP numbers (02) 8030 1000 or 1300 788 141 (log faults 24x7)

There seemed to be a glitch in our internal system , it had blocked your ADSL service . I unblocked this manually .

I have addressed this with our development team and this should not happen again. :)

Can you please check my service again... I only seem to be able to get around 70kbps download speed now (according to Exetel's speed test) even though I am synced at almost 1.7Mbit.

Please note that in order to further investigate your slow speed issue, could you please kindly PM me your service number so i could further investigate this issue.

Also along with that please get three speed test results from http://www.exetel.com.au/speed
