Hi Guys,
I have had a VOIP account for sometime but never been able to get it up. I have always recieved a 401 Unauthorised error. I get this on both my PC and iPhone. Appreciate if someone can please assit in helping me get my VOIP connection up and running.

I'll leave the iPhone for an Apple buff, but what are you using for VoIP on the landline, a hardware ATA or a softphone? It feels as though you haven't configured the server info correctly, and aren't logged in.
The correct settings are:
Proxy server (registrar), outbound proxy & proxy server: all are 58.96.1.2
User name, Caller ID: both are your 10 digit DID
Password: as supplied by Exetel when you created the account.
SIP protocol: UDP. All server fields use port 5060.

Dazzled is right it seems like you haven't configured the server info correctly , however you can drop me a PM with your VOIP number if you like and i'll have a look to see if everything is alright

Hi tommcm1200
I received your PM and when i looked into it i found a minor issue

However i have resolved this from the back end and tested it , i have been able to authenticate successfully

It should be all good , let me know how it goes
