Sound Quality With VOIP SPA3102

Hi All,

Having trouble with the call quality of my SPA 3102.

When people call us on our VOIP number they can hear us but there voice on my side is very crackly and soft. But when i make phone call the quality on both sides is fine. seems a little strange to me.

Im using a Panasonic KX-TG4393 phone
Billion 7800n router

Any ideas? Have followed the setup guides from http://www.jmgtechnology.com.au/spa_3102_guide.pdf as well.

Hi,

Can you check by changing the codec in the voip settings? Try with G711u and G711a both and see whether that improves the quality.

In your Billion router, port forward the following ports to the IP address of your SPA 3102,
SIP Ports 5060 - 5070
RTP ports 16384 - 16482
