Call Forwarding /diversion

Post by GLOpro » Mon Sep 19, 2011 11:43 pm

Hi,

This may seem like a very simple question but please persist with me.

If i am on a voip call (inbound or outbound), and someone calls my VOIP number, can i have that call diverted to another landline number?

Basically, if the phone is not answered or busy, i want it diverted to another landline number. (this would need to be handled by Exetels VOIP network, not the router)

Thanks.

PS. If you say it should work, can you test it, because i cant seem to get it to work.

Have you been here: https://www.exetel.com.au/members/voip_ ... e_form.php? (Manage Services -> VOIP --> Change)

not sure that conditional diversion is available though, would need to be able to do divert on busy, from the management interface it only has divert on of off by the looks of things, a good VoIP device can do it but not sure if he has that kind of hardware available
