Have just spent 3 hours on the phone with Netcomm engineers to find out the current firmware ( R0.09 ) on the current NB16WV ADSL/VOIP router does not support Exetel VOIP..they had to down grade the firmware to R0.08_0216.. issues were got busy tone on all numbers dialled.. when receiving calls on VOIP number the phone would ring but no voice.. all fixed after downgrade..

Thanks for your news on this.

I thought we were up to firmware R0.11 then when I checked the Netcomm website it was 9 again. Was I imagining this? It was at .09 back in May.


Anyway, might answer why a few of my customers VOIP are getting the issues you mentioned but only today.

How was the downgrade carried out?

I find it interesting that you mention the current firmware doesn't support Exetel VOIP. Who will be responsible for this?
