VoIP set up on Netcomm NF1ADV

I have upgraded from a NB9W so all the settings are basically similar. I have followed both the Netcomm install and Exetel's wiki, which although they differ everso slightly I have got all the green lights but I cannot get a dial tone. The only issue that I can think of would be that my existing Panasonic 1.8 Ghz phone is not compatible. Has anyone got any other suggestions? Thanks
