Voip Issues

Post by Shaun C » Fri Nov 15, 2013 7:58 pm

I have a new VOIP service and have been trying to connect. Setup up is a Netcomm V210P through a TL-WDR4300 then the NBN. I've configured the V210P as per guides supplied by Exetel and I can't get it to connect. I've also tried soft phone (Telephone and Express Talk) on a Mac and they cannot connect either. They receive the unauthorised 401 error message. I have 5060 port forward on the router and I can ping the Exetel sip servers. I'm not sure what the issue is but I can't figure out where I've gone wrong. Any help appreciated.

And strangely, some of the test calls actually reached my mobile from the soft phone. Albeit 5 minutes later.

Hi Shaun,

As for the phone call conversation we will not be pursuing this service difficulty any further since the issue has been restored. However if you do have any further concerns regarding the service kindly get back in touch with us.
