Exetel VoIP Gateways IP list

Post by lodperera » Wed Nov 05, 2014 10:45 am

Hi All,

Following are the IPs and ports that Exetel use for VoIP traffic. If you have a firewall blocking VoIP traffic, please make sure you have the following source IPs and ports are open. Otherwise you would experience one-way audio.

SIP Signalling IP Ranges
* 58.96.1.2

RTP IP Ranges
* 58.96.1.0/27
* 220.233.0.0/25
* 58.96.8.0/26

RTP Port Ranges (UDP)
* 58.96.1.0/27 , 220.233.0.0/25, 58.96.8.0/26 -> 10000-20000
* 58.96.1.2 -> 50000-60000

PS : This doesn't apply to VPBX customers.

Regards
LOD

This list needs to be updated, it's missing at least two IP addresses.

58.96.11.10
58.96.11.40

Hi,

I recently got connected to NBN and I have a problem with the VOIP configuration

is the ZTE H268A locked to exetel Voip only?

Because I entered my previous VOIP provider settings into the modem and it is not registering.
I have entered the sip server settings in the SIP protocol page
I rebooted the router several times but the STATUS still shows: unregistered
Any ideas?

Thanks for reaching out. The modem is not locked and it should not be a problem as long as the other VoIP port is not configured with an Exetel or a completely different provider's VoIP (the modem does not support more than one sip server at a time).
We recommend that you verify if the VoIP credentials you are using are correct by registering the same on a soft phone application, and also checking with your VoIP provider if you are entering the correct parameters.

Ok it worked on 1 Line.
The Voip credentials were correct but I had configured it for 2 voip lines
Many thanks

Glad to hear that you were able to get the VoIP working.
At present you would be unable to use both ports with the same VoIP number, but if your requirement is to use multiple telephone handsets with the same number you can also consider trying a phone splitter on the currently configured VoIP port.
