Can't get VOIP and PSTN to work at same time on VR200V

Hi,
I've just replaced my modem/router with a TP-Link VR200V. I have my ADSL, Landline and VOIP with Exetel.
Prior to changing to the VR200V, I was able to make and receive calls on both my VOIP number and my PSTN number.
Now....
If I connect the phone to the modem, VOIP works fine but I can't receive PSTN calls.
If I connect the phone to the splitter, PSTN works, but not VOIP.

This modem does not have a PSTN input, is there still a way to configure it so that both VOIP and PSTN work?
All help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

The device doesn't have dual input. The simplest thing is to connect a second phone or base station to the splitter, so you have a handset for each service.

There are also dual input handsets, like the Siemens C470 that connect both to the router and to the PSTN line. These contain their own ATA in a base station though, and don't use the router built-in ATA.

Thanks for your reply Dazzled.

I was hoping that wouldn't be the answer. When I went looking for a VOIP capable modem, I didn't consider that they would make one incapable of PSTN calls.

Looks like I'll be getting a second handset for incoming PSTN calls.

Thanks again.
