H268A connection to Voip Is unregistered

I recently activated NBN using a Exetel supplied ZTE modem and requested my home phone No 0352415606 be ported across to VoIP. I have been informed this has now been activated after a 3 month wait.
I can get a dialling tone on my handset but cannot ring out. I have followed the procedure emailed by Exetel to configure VoIP. But at the end after entering admin and correct password. Unregistered is displayed. Also the phone LED on my ZTE modem is not lit. I have emailed Tech Services for assistance and am still waiting for a response

Hi Donald, thanks for reaching out. We have pushed the VoIP settings remotely from our end and can see the VoIP online and registered on Phone port 1 of your ZTE modem. Kindly ignore any email you may have received with the VoIP password.
