Process for porting out

Hi, I wonder what is the process for porting out my number?

as I read somewhere that I need to give 1 month notice before cancelling the service.

If you are to port out your mobile number from Exetel, you need to place the request with your new provider as a Port in to them. 28 days’ notice is the period for the mobile services in cancellations. If you could get the port out process completed within that time frame, contact Exetel sales and place the cancellation.
