Phone not listed in Moip application

Post by ozvalue » Wed Jun 02, 2010 10:26 pm

I have a Nokia 6120 Classic and would like to try the Moip application. My phone is listed as one of the correct phones in your list of phones and is one of the phones in the select for the form at

https://www.exetel.com.au/moip_order/moip_form.php

for mobile users that don't have an account. For some reason it seems to have been missed out in select on the signup form that I'm meant to use from the ADSL control panel at

https://www.exetel.com.au/members/moip_appliation.php

Can I just use the Nokia 6121 version instead or should I wait until you fix up the members form?

Thanks
Ken

The 6120 and 6121 are identical apart from the 3G frequencies (6120 is 2100/850 for NextG, but if you're in a 2100MHz area that shouldn't matter), so if you want to try it, just use the 6121 version.

However the dev version of Exetel MoIP didn't work on my 6121, and I've seen lots of other users reporting the same. Raymond was looking into it, IIRC.
