Micro SIMs

Post by oliverbock » Thu Oct 28, 2010 7:06 pm

I have just bought a new iPhone, but my existing SIM is too big. Is this the "Micro SIM" that is marked out of stock when I try to order an Optus mobile service with Exetel? When will these be back in stock?

I had to convert one of my SIM cards into a Micro SIM - just bought this tool off eBay and it was easily done.

Excellent link Dazzled. Two minutes of work with a kitchen knife and my new phone is working perfectly!

This works, but don't tell Apple you did it:

Meanwhile, Exetel cannot be feeling too proud about the level of service these delays imply. It seems other providers are able to supply iPhone 4 microSIMS without problems. I've been waiting since 30 July!
