Ported to New Optus Plan but still charged for Vodafone

Post by david256 » Mon Nov 01, 2010 8:14 am

Hi Exetel,

Just got my Nov 2010 invoice and I have been charged for my old Mobile Y plan, plus I have been charged for
new CAP35 plan, I ported my number, I checked my Vodafone Sim card and it has been disabled.

Why would I be charged twice for the same number.

Thanks.

P.S. Last week I went into members facility to cancel my Mobile Y Plan, but after reading the following Warning, I didn't of fear losing my
current mobile number.

Quote:

"Warning:
1. After disconnection, the number will be disconnected and the service will no longer be usable.
2. Exetel can disconnect a mobile service, but not recommended. If you want to keep your mobile number and switch to another provider, you must port away - and to do this you have to call another provider."

Billing error I suspect, send an email to billing to get it sorted, not something that can be sorted via the forum
