Very Poor Reception

I have been with Exetel for many years without a problem (on the Vodafone network), however when i was forced to change recently to (Optus) I have found the reception to be very very poor in most areas I frequent. Most of the time I have one bar only and today whilst in the centre of Sydney, no reception AT ALL. This is appalling Exetel.

Just goes to show you, you should ditch the Opt***e and go back to your Vodaf

I got the exact same problem!!
sometimes I saw "Full" bars of signal but suddently a "missed call" message popup. My friend told me just couldn't reach me most of the time.
-- one bar most of the time

Dear wollgroo,

Based on your plan, APN (YESINTERNET) is correct. However, the area is marked for low signal strength both on 2G and 3G :( .
